The Balad of Penny Evans
Here is the first verse of the song Claire goes to sleep to:
Oh my name is Penny Evans and I just turned twenty-one
I'm a young widdow in the war that's being fought in Vietnam
I have two infant daughters, thank god I have no sons.
They say the war is ending, but I think it just began.
Apologies to Michelle Shocked and whoever owns the copyright to the song.

Looks like Claire is just making a very emphatic statement - probably says I would like to see either of my grandmas right now!!

I have heard the lovely ballad as you have sung it. My suggestion is that the musical people in the family need to UNITE! Perhaps you need an accompanist. However, Claire thinks her daddy's voice is a lullaby, however off tone.
